Resource Tree¶

The Resource Tree gives you an instant overview of the status of your entire lighting network. Here you can find fixtures, groups, universes, network items, layouts, RDM devices, scenes, VLANs, and draw objects.

Usage¶

The Resource Tree allows you to quickly switch between different items without constantly changing panels. For universes, network items, and RDM devices, the status of each item is shown immediately using the familiar green, orange, and red indicators.

You can add items in any section of the Resource Tree without having to open the corresponding panel.

Item Types¶

Fixtures¶

Select fixtures from the Resource Tree when you want to:

• Work in the plan view.
• Change properties or jump directly to Direct Control without switching panels.
• Quickly select fixtures while editing scenes in the Scene panel.

Groups¶

Update your groups quickly and easily:

1. Select the fixtures in the Fixture panel that you want to add to or update in a group.
2. In the Resource Tree, select the group you want to update and right-click.
3. Click Update Group and you’re done.

Network Items¶

• Select network items
• View the status of network items
• Add network items

Layouts¶

• Manage your stored layouts
• Recall layouts to quickly switch between workflows

RDM Devices¶

• Get a brief overview of all discovered RDM devices
• Directly control fixtures via RDM without switching to the RDM panel
• View the status of RDM devices

Scenes¶

Capture, update, and recall scenes without opening the Scene panel.

VLANs¶

View VLAN IDs and names.

Draw Objects¶

View and manage the draw objects you created in the plan view.
