Control Panel¶
The control panel adapts to the selected object(s). The control panel can be hidden by clicking the close button in the upper right corner and shown by the “View” menu in the menu bar.
Network Item Control¶
When Network Items are selected (in the main window) the control panel automatically provides “Identify” and “Test Connection” buttons for the selected item.
Fixture Control¶
When a fixture is selected, the control panel automatically displays relevant controls. It includes the following tabs: Basic, Colour, Beam, Extra, and Test.
Basic Tab¶
This tab provides general control buttons:
- Release – Releases all parameters of the selected fixtures.
- On – Sets all parameters to their default values (typically Open White 50/50).
- Grab – All sliders jump to the currently received values.
- Lock – All sliders jump to the received values, and the fixture is controlled using these values.
When pressing Release or On, the default fade time (configured in Preferences) is applied. To bypass the fade time, hold Cmd (macOS) or Ctrl (Windows) while pressing the buttons. This tab also includes Intensity and Pan/Tilt controls, if available.
Colour Tab¶
Contains all colour-related parameters.
Beam Tab¶
Contains all beam-related parameters.
Extra Tab¶
Displays any remaining parameters not covered by the other tabs.
Test Tab¶
Provides several testing options:
- Address Test – Defaults the selected fixtures one by one.
- Parameter Test – First sets all fixtures to their default position (if not already controlled), then tests each parameter individually (unless skipped).
- Test – Runs custom tests for the selected fixtures, if applicable. These are defined in the test.txt file located in the Fixture Library folder.
Below the speed slider, you can choose to skip or repeat specific parameters during testing.
RDM Tab¶
If the fixture is matched to an RDM device, an additional RDM tab appears. This tab shows sensor values and other data retrieved via RDM.
Universe Control¶
In the Universe Control window, you can control the channels of the selected universe by entering commands in the command line. Examples include:
- 1 Thru 36 Enter – Sets channels 1 through 36 to full.
- 12 Thru 24 Enter – Releases channels 12 through 24.
- 8 @ 0 – Sets channel 8 to 0.
- Next – Activates Highlight mode. Selects the first controlled channel and uses its value as the highlight value.
- Release – Releases all channels.
