Feature Overview
General Features¶
System Control¶
dmXLAN lets you control, configure and test lighting fixtures on the network without needing an external lighting console, regardless of the brand of fixtures or consoles used.
Offline Programming¶
dmXLAN allows you to prceconfigure your lighting system offline, without needing any equipment to be connected or powered on.
DMX Backup¶
The ELC lighting dmXLAN nodeGBx system now enables you to make your DMX system entirely redundant simply by feeding the end of your DMX run back into a nodeGBx.
RDM Proxy¶
An external RDM controller can send RDM data to the DMX input port of an ELC nodeGBx. The nodeGBx system will then distribute this data to RDM-compatible devices across multiple DMX outputs and nodes.
Monitor¶
Monitor your entire lighting installation, including DMX universes, RDM devices, network equipment, and third-party lighting controllers and converters.
Log¶
Log all data, connection statuses, and DMX values for complete system monitoring and diagnostics.
Serial LED¶
Directly control up to 3 universes of serial LED tape using a port of an ELC nodeGBx, without the need for an external DMX-to-serial converter.
Flexible Patch¶
Combine and cross-patch up to 3 universes per DMX port, allowing multiple softpatch configurations to be switched and controlled by external DMX controllers.
RDM-QR Adressing¶
Using the dmXLAN QR mobile app (available for iOS and Android), addressing a fixture is as easy as entering the fixture number and scanning the RDM-QR.
Fixture Tester¶
Don’t stay tied to your computer, synchronize your dmXLAN file with Fixture Tester. A flexible way to test fixtures and configure RDM settings directly on the work floor.
